With the rapid development of industry, the problem of organic gas emissions is becoming increasingly serious, causing great pressure on the environment. In order to reduce organic gas emissions and improve resource utilization, organic gas recovery systems have emerged. This article will briefly introduce the research and progress of key technologies in organic gas recovery systems.
The organic gas recovery system mainly includes pretreatment, adsorption, desorption, condensation, compression and other stages. Among them, the pretreatment stage mainly removes impurities from organic gases to improve the subsequent treatment effect; The adsorption process utilizes adsorbents to adsorb organic gases and achieve gas separation; The desorption process releases organic gases from the adsorbent through heating or depressurization; The condensation process condenses organic gases into liquid form, which facilitates storage and transportation; The compression process compresses liquid organic gas into high-pressure gas, improving transportation efficiency.
In the preprocessing stage, physical and chemical methods are currently mainly used. Physical methods include filtration, washing, centrifugation, etc., while chemical methods include oxidation, reduction, neutralization, etc. The physical method has the advantages of simple operation and low cost, but the processing effect is limited; The chemical method has a good treatment effect, but the cost is relatively high.
The adsorption process is one of the key steps. At present, adsorbents such as activated carbon, molecular sieves, and zeolites are widely used in organic gas recovery systems. Activated carbon has the advantages of strong adsorption capacity and fast adsorption speed, but it is prone to saturation and difficult to regenerate; Molecular sieves have advantages such as good selectivity and large adsorption capacity, but their cost is relatively high; Zeolite has the advantages of large adsorption capacity and good regeneration performance, but the adsorption rate is relatively slow.
The desorption process mainly adopts heating or depressurization methods. Heating desorption has the advantages of simple operation, low cost, but high energy consumption; Vacuum desorption has the advantages of low energy consumption and simple equipment, but the desorption effect is poor.
The condensation process mainly uses coolers or condensers. Coolers have the advantages of simple structure and low cost, but their cooling effect is poor; The condenser has the advantages of good cooling effect and wide applicability, but the cost is relatively high.
The compression process mainly uses compressors. Compressors have the advantages of simple structure and stable operation, but they consume a high amount of energy.
In summary, research and progress on key technologies for organic gas recovery systems mainly focus on pre-treatment, adsorption, desorption, condensation, compression, and other processes. With the continuous development of technology, organic gas recovery technology will become more mature, providing strong support for environmental protection and resource utilization in China.
